Continuation of Fanfiction 10: Birthday of Love

After the all  fitting that Sanzo had to do.......

Yuki: See??? You bought the clothes aftfer all!!!

Sanzo: Anything to make you happy......

Yuki: Let's see........it's already 3:00 pm.....what do you want to do next??

Sanzo (to himself): We still have an hour.....

Yuki: Sanzo???? Are you okay???

Sanzo: Yeah....why don't we have a nice walk??

Yuki (smiles): Sure!

So they walked around the village and also did some window shopping. They also recalled some childhood memories.

Both of them laughing....

Yuki: Hai! i remember that time when the other  priests tried to trick you that what they were drinking was some kind of  holy water.....

Sanzo: Yeah but I knew that they were lying....what time is it now??

Yuki: Eto.....it's ten mins till four.....why?

Sanzo: Oh nothing....let's go back.........

Yuki: Hai!

So they walked back to the Inn and when they arrived, it was almost time.....

Yuki: Hmmm???

Sanzo: What is it?

Yuki: Iiye....just that it's so quiet today...

Sanzo: It's nothing...I'm sure.........

Yuki: I guess you're right...

Sanzo: Why don't we have tea inside there? We'll at least get some peace and quiet there...(pointing at the door to the room where her surprise is waiting)

Yuki:Sure.

Inside the room....

Ken: Shush!!!!! I hear them already.....She's coming on!!!!!! Everybody hide!!!!

so, everybody rushed to their hiding places and Ken turned off the lights

Yuki (opening the door): Let's see......

Everybody: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

And then came the streamers and confetti......

Yuki: Nani? This is for me?

Reina: Of course!! We wanted to show how we appreciated  for all the things that you have done for us!!!

Ken: And  also we wanted to make sure that you had a great time on your birthday.

Yuki: Demo, you prepared so much decorations and food.....

Ken: Don't worry about it!!! For now you just sit down and watch the show that we prepared!!

Sanzo: You even made a show????

Yuki: You knew about this? Sanzo?

Sanzo : *sighs* Hai, I knew it from the beginning...but don't get me wrong....I didn't go out with you just to keep you away from here.......

Yuki: I understand....

Ken: Hey!!! The show's starting!!!

Yuki: Hai, Hai

(they already started to pull her towards the chair for her in front of the stage that they prepared)

And so there were skits, songs, dances and many more....

After several hours.........and several glasses of sake................

Ken (drunk): Come on!!!! All of  you are drunk already!!??? The party is just getting started!!!!!!!

Yuki: Oh my....Ken is drunk....and so is reina.........(she looks around) Hmm? Where is Sanzo?

Outside in the garden.......

Yuki: Ah!!!That was really good!! Ne, Sanzo did you enjoy the food?

Sanzo: Hai, not bad considering the lack of entertainment.

Yuki: Really, you are very picky...anyway...what should we do next?? It's only been an hour since we came here.

Sanzo: What do you want to do? It is after all your birthday.

Yuki: Hmmm, I think I want to go around town and look for some more medicine herbs and maybe more supplies for our journey.....after all we are going to leave after the wedding...

Sanzo: That's right, it may take some time before we will come back here again.

Yuki: So many good things has happened while we were here...

Sanzo: And so many noise and troubles from those two..

Yuki: (giggles) Anyway, shall we go now?

Sanzo: Yeah, let me just get the bill. (To the waiter) Hey!!! Please get our bill!!

Waiter: Hai

So they paid the bill using Sanzo's gold card of course. Then they went around the town going to all sorts of medicine stores and also stores where they could buy various things.

Inside a shop selling clothes...

Sanzo: Why do we have to buy me some clothes???? I am going to wear the ttraditional robes most of the time anyway!

Yuki: Demo...there might be times when you have to wear casual clothes and besides those clothes look so good on you!!! ( blushes)

Sanzo: ( blushes) Don't say things like those!!!

Yuki: Gomensai, it's just you look so handsome

Sanzo: You think so?

Continuation of Fanfiction 10: Birthday of Love

Sanzo and Yuki were still hugging each other.....

Sanzo: Hey...Yuki let's go around town today...just you and me...

Yuki: I would love to.....I'll just take a shower

Sanzo: There's this restaurant where we can eat breakfast

Yuki: Why not here?

Sanzo: I just want to go somewhere else for a change, besides I hate it when those two are with us being loud....

Yuki:(giggles) Hai, hai wakarimasu

Yuki goes and takes a shower while Sanzo reads the newapaper and smokes.

After a few minutes Yuki enters already wearing her clothes for going out.

Yuki: I'm ready, I hope you weren't waiting that long.

Sanzo: Iiye, it's okay. Ikemasho...

Yuki and Sanzo walks out of the room and goes downstairs. Sanzo tried to keep Yuki busy from looking or hearing Reina and Ken making the preparations for her party later.

Later outside a specialty restaurant.....

Yuki:You're right this is a good place to eat breakfast. They have booths where we can sit  and have privacy. Ah! Even the settings are nice and the colors too! kawaii!

Sanzo: It seems that you like it already.

Yuki: Hai, arigato for bringing me here.

Sanzo: Whatever...let's go and get a seat.

Waiter: Here are your menus..

Yuki: Arigato...wow! you have so many choices...

Waiter: Yes, I will come back later to take your order

Yuki: Eto.....(to Sanzo) What are you going to order?

Sanzo: Just the usual...

Yuki: I see.....I'll just order today's special!

Waiter: Are you ready to order?

Yuki: Hai, i will have today's special and some green tea.

Waiter: Hai, (to Sanzo ) And what will you be having sir?

Sanzo: I'll just have this one (pointing at something at the menu) and some green tea as well....

Waiter: Your food will be ready in a few minutes.

The waiter leaves them....

Yuki: Ne...

Sanzo: Nani??

Yuki: Do you think that there is another purpose of my father for making as a couple?

Sanzo: Why? You don't want to marry?

Yuki: (blushes) Iiye, it's nothing like that...I do love you....it's just that

Sanzo blushes a bit but Yuki does not notice....

Yuki: I feel that.....there is another reason...a really important one.....

Sanzo: Well, who knows? One day we will know that reason.

Yuki: Hai, I shouldn't be worrying about it at a time like this.

Sanzo: It is your birthday so just relax. By the did you have fun last night?

Yuki: Hai, the dinner was really good. It's a good thing that there was a restaurant that had my favorite dish. And that walk by the lake was so romantic...I really enjoyed watching the stars with you..

Sanzo: I still remember when we came back those two had these looks on their faces that made me think that they think that we did something.

Yuki: Masaka, we didn't anything scandalous or anything like that.

Sanzo: Besides what's the point? We are getting married.

Yuki: Demo.....I remembered something....those have been acting strange these days...

Sanzo: Probably nothing...I didn't notice anything....

Yuki: You're right but it was lik they were planing for something.....

Sanzo: What would they plan?

Yuki: I don't know....Ah! Our food is here!

Waiter: Please enjoy the food.( He leaves)

Sanzo: I hope that it tastes good.

Yuki: I'm sure it will. Itadakimasu!

Fanfiction 10: Birthday of Love

Reina: Hey onii-chan? Are you done with the banner?

Ken: Almost! How about the food and the presents?

Reina: We are just about done setting the food and there is a table set up for the presents. *sighs* I really hope that Yuki will loves this.

Sanzo(enters): I'm sure she will. You worked hard to prepare didn't you?

Ken: Hey! You're supposed to keep Yuki from coming here until we're done!

Sanzo: Don't worry. she's still sleeping. Probably exhausted from our date last night.

Reina: You better go back upstairs just in case she wakes up. And remember! Come back at exactly 4:00 pm!

Sanzo: Hai, hai, whatever.

Ken: Where is the gift you bought for her?

Sanzo: Right here. (ttakes the box from inside his robes and shows them).

Ken: Make sure that you don't lose them! They almost cost you a fortune!

Sanzo: *sighs* Stop pestering me! I'm going upstairs.

Sanzo exits the room leaving them to decorate the room for the party.

Meanwhile.....

Yuki: *yawns* Mmmm......I really slept well last night. I wonder if it's sunny today? (looks outside the window) I guess it is, I'll just sit here for a while. (she sits on the chair beside the window)

Sanzo enters the room and what he saw took his breath away. There she was....leaning on the window....for someone who just woke up...she still looked beautiful.

Yuki: Ah! Sanzo! Ohayo!

Sanzo: Ohayo....you just woke up?

Yuki: Hai, I really slept well last night. How about you?

Sanzo: I did...

Yuki: (stands up) I'm going to take a shower. (starts to go past Sanzo to go to the bathroom when he suddenly grabs her hand.)

Yuki: Doushite?

Sanzo said nothing...instead he embraced her and for what seemed like ages he just looked at her eyes....

Yuki: Sanzo....

Then he kissed her.........after what seemed like years....no centuries... they seperated....

Sanzo(smiles): Happy Birthday....

Yuki: Sanzo....arigato....aishiteru...

Sanzo: aishiteru.........

Fanfiction 9: Gift of love

Weeks past, Yuki's birthday started to grow nearer. Will she like the gift?

Ken and Reina (whispering to each other): what are we going to do for Yuki's birthday?

Reina: Should we hold it here? Or in a restaurant?

Ken: Baka! This is a restaurant!

Reina: You're right, gomen

Ken: We have to think fast and make sure you don't tell her!

Yuki: Tell me what? (smiling)

Ken and Reina: Ahh!

Reina: You surprised me!

Yuki: Gomenasai,I was hoping you would accompany me to the medicine shops.

Ken: What for?

Yuki: I'm running low on herbs and other antidotes.

Reina: You carry antidotes with you?

Yuki: Of course! Since we're traveling at the moment, we have to be prepared like what if we get poisoned?

Ken: You got a point.

Reina: Hai. I'll come with you. Anyway, I hate sitting still.

Yuki: Ok, ikemasho!

Ken: Chotto matte! Where's Sanzo?

Yuki: He should be in the room reading the newspaper as usual.

Reina: Ne why don't you go with him instead?

Yuki: I was going to ask him, demo he looked tired for some reason and didn't seem to be in the mood to go out.

Ken: I wonder if he's getting old already?

Yuki: You shouldn't make fun of him or else he'll shoot you.

Ken: He won't, I don't think he would shoot an ordianry human.

Reina: But if you die then don't expect us to cry over you.

Ken: OMAE!

Yuki: Ah, look at the time. We should be going now Reina.

Reina: Yeah, or else someone will explode.

(Yuki and Reina starts to go but Ken decided to follow them. Meanwhile, Sanzo was recalling something.)

Sanzo: Why is it that I care about her so much that I have to pick her the perfect gift?

He remembered the times he would fail to give her a gift on her birthdays before and she wouldn't mind. Although he didn't give her a gift she would give him homemade gifts and never ask for anything in return. Even, His master didn't mind that his daughter didn't recieve a gift. He also remembered the times when Yuki would care for his injuries, even minor injuries.

Sanzo: I guess this is what I get for loving someone.
